Update: Pet Peeves list June

Hey guys,

Burping, Sneezing, Farting, Hiccups
Yes. Out of context the above listed things do sound utterly gross or possibly just odd, but it leads me to this...

One of my utmost favourite reoccurring posts to blog about is without a doubt my Pet Peeves list.
Every now and again when something or someone in my life tires me to the point in which I remember that a pet peeve list update is necessary I post an updated copy of my Pet Peeves list. I'm not sure why, but recreating this list makes me feel as if I get a chance to discover a little tiny piece more of myself as I unravel the growing number things that makes me tick.

The definition Google provides of the phrase 'Pet Peeve' is:
Something that a particular person finds especially annoying.

In my case, this just happens to be an exceptionally lengthy list of things.

The thing is, in most of the below circumstances, I don't really seem to notice that the action is getting on my nerves. I just happen to find myself in a dimmer mood than I was in before the action started, so when I'm updating my list, I'm really just looking back on certain situations and realising why I got into a sour mood. Although half the time I don't even let the person know how I'm feeling, I just kind of drown in my irritation until I escape (as weird and psychotic as that sounds).

Anywhoo..
I present my 2015 updated Pet Peeves list:

  • When people ignore homeless people. It's rude
  • Seeing people litter
  • When you offer someone some if they want something you're about to cook and they decline, waiting until you've made it before they ask for some
  • When I smudge my nail polish before it gets a chance to dry
  • When people are loud for no reason
  • When people go into my room and move my stuff around without my permission
  • When people are disrespectful to bus drivers
  • Pigeons.
  • When people Speak with their mouth full
  • Chewing gum with your mouth open
  • Excess chewing noises
  • Buzzing (made by Bees and Flys)
  • Drivers who don't use a turn signal. (when you're trying to cross the road, so they almost run you over)
  • Lagging (TV/Videos)
  • When the people sitting behind me kick my chair
  • Feeling Gum Under the Desk
  • People who read out loud what they're typing in an email or reading a book.
  • People who chew with their mouth open
  • People who ride their bikes in the road and cause traffic when I'm in a rush
  • When you open the DVD case and it is empty or a different movie is in it
  • People who don't cover their mouth while sneezing or coughing (I just find it inconsiderate for those around them who have to inhale their germs)
  • Waking up to dirty dishes in the sink that I have to wash, when I didn't cause them
  • People who clear their throats in a disgusting way (when you can hear the phloem and whatnot brewing in there)
  • People who spit on the street
  • When people leave the cap off the toothpaste (I get paranoid that something crawled into it)
  • Relying on someone else to take a picture because I want to be in it, and it ends up coming out off-centred and out-of-focus
  • When I wake up and my phone is on 1% because I forgot to plug it in
  • When someone comes into my room and doesn't leave the door and the light how they found it
  • When I have a unique idea and the teacher shared it with the class
  • Sleeping through my alarm or someone snoozes my alarm before I get the chance to wake up

  • Surprisingly this list is shorter than it usually is. And full of more important things than usual, this either means that I'm growing up or I've just become a more tolerable person. Either way, I guess this is a win for me and a win for humanity as they now do less to agitate me.

Is there anything in particular that makes you tick? If so, what?
It could even be people who blog about their pet peeves
    ...Wouldn't that be awkward...

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
    Hmm...HMM..

“I don't have pet peeves like some people. I have whole kennels of irritation.”

    Pet peeves: Update

    Hey guys,

I am really starting to like the centre alignment style. Anyway, let's not get distracted...

Something I've noticed is that I tend to remember to give a 'Pet peeves: Update' when I've been deeply irritated/annoyed about something or by someone. Today is different though. There has been nothing to annoy me, this could be because I slept around two in the morning and woke up around nine in the evening, so there hasn't been enough time for anything interesting to occur.
The only reason I remembered that I haven't done this in a long time was because I was going through some of my old posts (you know, just taking a trip down memory lane, correcting the odd spelling mistake or grammatical error) and I knew that some of the things have changed e.g. Pigeons. I'm not saying that I'm now a pigeon lover and I go to the pond with a bucket-full of bread crumbs to feed them with. No. I'm just saying that seeing the odd bird doesn't annoy me as much as it did before.

  • People sneezing in public
  • When you offer someone some if they want something you're about to cook and they decline, waiting until you've made it before they ask for some
  • People coughing in public

  • When people are loud for no reason
  • When people go into my room and move my stuff around without my permission

  • When people get too clingy
  • Pigeons.
  • Blowing your nose in public
  • When people breathe on me (goes hand in hand with personal space)
  • Slugs
  • When people Speak with their mouth full

  • Feeling Gum Under the Desk
  • People who read out loud what they're typing in an email or reading a book.
  • People who sit next to you on public transportation when there are other seats available
  • People who prolong class by asking stupid questions.
  • Whenever anyone says "Ya, know what I'm sayin?"... when they haven't even said anything
  • The use of "like" as a filler
  • When a person makes a sucking noise with a straw when the cup is empty
  • People who chew with their mouth open
  • Girls who insist on sitting with their legs open when wearing skirts/dresses

  • When you open the DVD case and it is empty or a different movie is in it

  • People who spit on the side-walk
  • When people leave the cap off the toothpaste (I get paranoid that something crawled into it)
  • Relying on someone else to take a picture because I want to be in it, and it ends up coming out off-centred and out-of-focus
  • People who leave the door open when they go to the bathroom
  • When you're eating something and a person steals a little piece of it
  • When people touch my face
  • Being forced to say "I miss you too" to family members on the phone (when I'm not in the mood)
  • When I wake up and my phone is on 1%
  • When someone comes into my room and doesn't leave the door and the light how they found it
  • When I have a unique idea and the teacher shared it with the class
  • Anything patronizing
  • When I plug my phone in to charge but forget to switch the socket on
  • When the teacher/librarian singles you out for talking when the rest of the room sounds like a zoo

    Pet peeves: Update

    Hey guys,

    We've all got pet peeves...
Some have more than others, by 'some', I mean me. There are soo many things that annoy me about people in general. Even the little things, but I've really surprised myself because I've noticed that the list has shortened instead of grown. Actually, I'm not really all that surprised. I've decided to try and give humanity another shot to win me over by trying not to be as irritated by small things as before and so far, I'm doing quite well. Of course, there is always going to be that person who annoys you soo much. There's this girl called -I'm not even going to start on her, I've decided to give everyone a clean slate this academic year. Oh and this woman on the bus was soo annoying, she kept on popping her gum soo loud, for a second I could have sworn that she was beat boxing

  • sneezing in public
  • When people poke me repetitively
  • coughing in public
  • Pigeons
  • When people walk slowly and you're in a rush
  • Burping anywhere
  • Going into my room and moving my stuff
  • When I ask someone if they want some of my food and they so "no" then when I'm at the last bite they're like "actually..."
  • People who blow their nose in public
  • when people breathe on me without consent
  • Excess chewing noises
  • When the people Behind you kick your chair
  • Reading out loud what they're typing in an email or reading in a book.
  • Sitting next to me on public transportation when there are other seats available
  • Prolonging class by asking stupid questions.
  • Saying "Ya, know what I'm sayin'?"...
  • People who ride their bikes slowly on the street
  • Making a sucking noise with a straw when the cup is empty
  • Chewing with your mouth open
  • Girls who insist on sitting with their legs open not wearing shorts
  • When something I've been into for a long time becomes popular
  • People who clear their throats in a disgusting way
  • People that pop and smack their chewing gum
  • People who spit on the sidewalk
  • People who leave the door open when they go to the bathroom

    Pet peeves: Update

    Hey guys,

As life drags on, you naturally tend to categorize yourself into one of two major groups of society. Group one loves the world and everyone in it and is almost always full of rainbows and bubbles, whereas Group two tends to get more and more agitated by the pesky little things that people do. Although I made up both of the categories, I'm in neither one if them. I'm part of the unique specimen of people who are genuinely kind, thoughtful people, but when in a bad mood...I don't know how I appear to be in a bad mood, perhaps a tad bit female-doggish?
You have to ask those who often annoy me. Anyway, here are a list of the things that you should avoid doing when you are around me:

  • People sneezing in public
  • People coughing in public
  • When people go into my room and move my stuff
  • People who don't cover their mouth while yawning
  • Pigeons
  • Blowing your nose in public
  • bugs
  • When people breathe on me
  • Being falsely accused of something
  • (Occasionally) Rain
  • slugs
  • Speaking with your mouth full
  • Chewing gum with your mouth open
  • Excess chewing noises
  • Buzzing (made by Bees and Flys)
  • Drivers who don't use a turn signal. (when you're trying to cross the road)
  • Accidentally kicking Things In the Dark
  • Lagging TV/Videos
  • When the people Behind you kick your chair
  • Feeling Gum Under the Desk
  • People who read out loud what they're typing in an email or reading a book.
  • People who sit next to you on public transportation when there are other seats available
  • People who prolong class by asking stupid questions.
  • Whenever anyone says "Ya, know what I'm sayin"...
  • When a person makes a sucking noise with a straw when the cup is empty
  • People who chew with their mouth open

  • People who spit on the street

New and improved pet peeves list

    Hey guys,

There's no better way to start off the new year, than making an updated Pet Peeves list. I know my previous lists were slightly long, but one of my resolutions was to be more patient and be nicer to people, so I expected my list to decrease. I was wrong. My list is fuller than ever and thriving.
Oh, and is it just me, or is it harder to be nice to people than being sarcastic and snarky?

Below, I present my new and improved pet peeves list:

  • People sneezing in public
  • People coughing in public
  • When people go into my room and move my stuff
  • People who don't cover their mouth while yawning

  • People who read out loud what they're typing in an email or reading a book.
  • People who sit next to you on public transportation when there are other seats available

Things I hate and pet peeves

    Hey guys,

There are some things in life that you love, some things that you tolerate, and some things that you HATE.
Since the birth of my blog account, I have given you an idea of the things I love/like such as CHEESE. But one thing that I (think) I've hardly spoken about, are the things I hate. Below is a very short list of the things I hate and my pet peeves (In no particular order). Unfortunately for you, the rest of the list is classified.

    • Sneezing
    • Coughing
    • Pigeons
    • Being falsely accused
    • (occasionally) Rain
Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
    Hmm...HMM...

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
