Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

Hey guys,

I was thinking, hah never a good idea, but as crazy as it sounds, I came to the realization that if animals just took a second to stop being scared of us and running away, they could literally rule the world. No joke. This is why I need a hobby, I mean, what sane person sits down and thinks about this kind of stuff?
I'm actually really stoked to see this movie. Most people aren't because of -you know. Apparently the first movie is always better than the second movie

WAIT- One thing that blew my mind, was when I was watching the trailer on TV and I got a really good look at the lead male actor. It was James Franco! James freakin' Franko! Since when? I always thought that it was a random actor.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

No mercy

Hey guys,

I'm going to keep this as brief as possible.

As you already know, this Saturday was my friend Mayas' birthday. She took us back in time, okay not really, but she took us bowling and it was really fun. I warned her before we went that just because it was her birthday didn't mean that I was going to go easy on her. Bear in mind that the last time I went bowling was probably in 2011, my point is.. I was a little bit rusty. We bowled in two teams of three, team one consisted of Kayleigh, Zea and me, whilst team two consisted of Maya (the birthday girl), Zoe and Neriah but both teams had a spare space on the scoreboard, because you needed to have four people on each team, so we just randomly bowled when it came to the spares turn.

In case you haven't guessed what happened...I won!! I absolutely dominated the game. I finished with a score point of 130. I mean, not to be cocky or anything, but I saw it coming. I bowled better than I ever had. I bowled five strikes, two spares and I can't remember the rest. I think I'm just really good at physical tasks. I love being active and competitive and what-not. After that, we went over to the arcade and I spent about seven pounds on arcade games, they are soo addictive. Especially the ones with the claws and the prizes. Such rip-offs!

Then we ate lunch at Frankies and Bennies, which I thought was an ice-cream store, I was soo embarrassed because before we went there, I was like "good thing we're going to Frankie and Bennies, it's really hot today" and my friend just looked at me. I bet she was wondering what one had to do with the other.
After that, I wen't back to Mayas' house to also beat her at a few games of cards, then she beat me at our final game.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
Hmm...HMM..

Sorry xx

Hey guys,

Yes. I know. You don't have to tell me. I haven't blogged in two days. *sigh* I have a really lame excuse. My laptop has been broken for approximately a year and six months

-wait, I haven't told you guys the story of how I broke it, have I? Basically, it was around the day of my birthday (mid march 2013) and I was dying to own the Sims 3 game (I'd played it before, many times, but I'd never had a game of my own), so my sister and Mum took me out to go and buy it as a birthday present. When we got home, it was around seven or eight but I had trouble figuring out how to download it an what-not, so I didn't start playing the game until around ten. I was allowed to play it for about two hours before my mum woke up and sent me to bed. Being the rebel that I am, I snuck upstairs with my laptop and my earphones and started playing The Sims in bed. about and hour later, I heard someone moving around, so I took my earphones off and put them between my laptop screen and the keyboard, then I partially closed the keyboard, so the screen wouldn't go off. The footsteps were getting closer, so I panicked and slammed my laptop completely shut and the earphones cracked the screen in three different places. Now the screen is completely black, apart from a tiny triangle at the top right corner of the screen.

Anyway, you guys know how lazy I can be, I've procrastinated fixing it (if that even makes any sense), so I've been sharing my Mums laptop with her ever since. She was using it for the majority of the last two days, so there was no way I could post. Sorry xx

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

Maya

Hey guys,

Tomorrow is the 15th birthday of my friend Maya. She's invited a bunch of us out to go bowling and eat Pizza although I'm not sure if I'm going to eat any because my mum bought me a box off Pizza and I'm currently soo full I can't even think about food. She bought the Pizza around 2pm, now it's almost ten past 11pm and I'm still really full. On the other hand, I am really excited to go bowling! I haven't bowled in years but I'm ready to kick some butt.

Hope you've got fun things planned for tomorrow too x

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

Pet peeves: Update

Hey guys,

We've all got pet peeves...
Some have more than others, by 'some', I mean me. There are soo many things that annoy me about people in general. Even the little things, but I've really surprised myself because I've noticed that the list has shortened instead of grown. Actually, I'm not really all that surprised. I've decided to try and give humanity another shot to win me over by trying not to be as irritated by small things as before and so far, I'm doing quite well. Of course, there is always going to be that person who annoys you soo much. There's this girl called -I'm not even going to start on her, I've decided to give everyone a clean slate this academic year. Oh and this woman on the bus was soo annoying, she kept on popping her gum soo loud, for a second I could have sworn that she was beat boxing

  • sneezing in public
  • When people poke me repetitively
  • coughing in public
  • Pigeons
  • When people walk slowly and you're in a rush
  • Burping anywhere
  • Going into my room and moving my stuff
  • When I ask someone if they want some of my food and they so "no" then when I'm at the last bite they're like "actually..."
  • People who blow their nose in public
  • when people breathe on me without consent
  • Excess chewing noises
  • When the people Behind you kick your chair
  • Reading out loud what they're typing in an email or reading in a book.
  • Sitting next to me on public transportation when there are other seats available
  • Prolonging class by asking stupid questions.
  • Saying "Ya, know what I'm sayin'?"...
  • People who ride their bikes slowly on the street
  • Making a sucking noise with a straw when the cup is empty
  • Chewing with your mouth open
  • Girls who insist on sitting with their legs open not wearing shorts
  • When something I've been into for a long time becomes popular
  • People who clear their throats in a disgusting way
  • People that pop and smack their chewing gum
  • People who spit on the sidewalk
  • People who leave the door open when they go to the bathroom

    I'm stalling

    Hey guys,

Today I'm going out to do a little bonding with my oldest sister. Fun right? So i'll probably post really late, but if I don't get the chance to... I'm counting this as a post. Besides, I think I'm kind of doing you a favor by making this short an sweet because I've been posting a lot, so I'm giving your eyes a break.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

    Home bound

    Hey guys,

My posts are getting real boring, real fast. You don't even have to tell me. Today, I did nothing. I woke up around 11am and stayed on my phone talking to my friends in bed for like three hours. Then I went onto Instagram, that's right! I have an Instagram account now,  for half an hour (Jessops98). I was supposed to go out with my oldest sister, but my hair was a mess, so I gave her a rain-check and we're going to Oxford Str. tomorrow. You see... I'm not a complete lost cause. I'm going out tomorrow, Thursday and Saturday. Thank God! I think if I had to stay at home for the whole week, I'd suffocate in boredom. I hope you  guys are having more fun than I am this summer.

    Boredom strikes again

    Hey guys,

So, it's day 3... I thought about it, and I figured that posting a someecard shouldn't count as a daily post and I was cheating, so... here we are. I never knew how hard posting every day could be. It's probably because I've spent the day doing nothing- wait no, I played my guitar and came to the conclusion that after three years, I'm losing my touch. I am also about to attempt to do some exercise  watch TV whilst simultaneously texting almost everyone on my contact list and starting to watch season one of Orange is the New Black. I really don't know why I'm even bothering to try and watch it because normally, when everybody likes something, I'm automatically like "No. I don't like it" without even giving it a shot but today I'm about to change that and scope it out, you know, to see how it is. I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

    Day 2: Summer Bucket List

    Hey guys,

To avoid being a lazy couch potato, like I was last year, I have decided to make a Summer Bucket List. I got this idea from my friend Neriahs' Blog. It's a list of the top 10 things I want to do before summer ends and the real GCSE exams start:

1.Post something on my blog every day
2.Get two more Blue Peter Badges
3.Catch up on my holiday homework
4.Write and post four more chapters in my Wattpad book
5.Work out more (let's be realistic, once a week)
6.Go out with my friends at least once a week
7.Join a summer club of some sort
    8.Build a fort
    9.Climb a tree
10.Learn at least three more songs on my guitar and piano

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

    Day 1

    Hey guys,

This is day one of my Summer Blogging challenge and I've been soo productive. Did you know that it's soo exhausting staying in your room all day doing nothing, on your phone, watching TV, eating, texting. I've been soo productive, I'm even shocking myself. Actually, there is one productive thing I've done today. I have finally tuned my guitar! Four years and three months after my guitar lessons at my old school, thanks to my friend Maya and her little electronic guitar tuner thing, I can finally play my guitar again!

How it works is you press the red button to switch it on, then you pluck a string and that thin little line moves. The aim of it is to get the line to the middle. If it's in the middle, a green light flashes and the guitar is tuned, but if it doesn't - the red light will flash and you will have to keep attempting to tune the string.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

    Summer blogger

    Hey guys,

This is completely random, but I've challenged myself to post at least one blog post every day of summer, even when I do nothing but stay at home and eat. I've also decided, based on my previous failed attempts to post every Monday and Friday, that I need something to motivate me so I don't give up.  Sooo... If I do give up and/or forget to post something, I have given my sister and my friends the opportunity to throw something at me. Bear in mind that this is invalid in the event of a power cut or the internet is down . This could be anything from the following list: food, furniture, clothes, drinks etc. Whatever they feel like throwing and there are no repercussions, so I have to just roll with it. Just typing that out has made me very nervous. I'll probably make a video of them throwing whatever it is they throw at me -but hopefully I won't have to.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

    First impressions

    Hey guys,

There is nothing more awkward than talking about the first impressions you had of people especially if it's to a teacher and the people are right there looking at you. I made a comment in my English class that was somewhere along the lines of ''uhh my first impressions of you guys was scary' which we all brushed off with a 'yeah' and some smiles. Then my nosy English teacher overheard and asked me to elaborate. So I went on to say my first opinions of everyone sitting on my table:

    'you were waay too loud'
'i thought you were a snob'
    'you were scary' etc etc.

Then the teacher smiled and walked away, leaving me to the table of people I had just talked about. FML. You know that one moment every human has had in their life where they literally want to die of embarrassment? Yep, that was how I felt.

It's all fun and games until a teacher gets involved. I hate it when they do that. Especially in my school, the teachers are really nosy. Lets just say that I am talking about my love for cheesy foods. One of my teachers will 'overhear' and chime in with pointless comments such as 'ooh my husband cooks a great pizza' or 'my sister loves cheese too' causing my friends and I to make awkward eye conversations or attempt to be social with the teacher.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
    Hmm...HMM..

I could tell my parents hated me. My bath toys were a toaster and a radio.

Paris was great and all but...

    Hey guys,

I'm not sure whether I mentioned this in my last post or not, but I have decided to post a minimum of twice every week. I'm thinking of doing Mondays and Fridays, but knowing me I'd end up procrastinating/forgetting or being too lazy to do anything and not follow up on that schedule.

Alrighty, back to the main reason I'm posting. I recently went to Paris, France on a school trip from Last Monday to Saturday and I would love to say it was awesome -but then I'd be lying. I would say it was a bitter-sweet experience. All I can say is Thank God that wasn't my first time visiting Paris. We spent most of our days walking until our feet bled (just kidding), then we'd have a five minute break and then walk some more.

This was basically our morning routine: Get woken up at 7:30am, breakfast at 8:30am, 9:30am go to the store to buy food for lunch, walk/take train to wherever, eat at 12pm, walk and take more trains, eat dinner at french restaurant (lord knows what time we did this, i'm just going to say 7pm) then lights out at 10:30pm.

I love my family and all, but I'd have to say that going on holiday with your friends is waay better than going with your family, simply because you get to bond with each other and you are all the same age so there aren't any parents nagging you to do whatever and you get to play pranks on/dare each other. Example 1) we were all put into in rooms of two when we got there, so we played a team chubby bunny challenge. The rules were; each room had to nominate a member to do the chubby bunny challenge and the person who fits the least amount of marshmallows in their mouth loses, which means both them and their roommate had to get waxed twice. It was hilarious. I nominated my roommate Zoe to do it and we WON! woo-freaking-hoo. I took it upon myself to personally rip the wax off of the losers and I made sure I did it as slowly as possible.

Oh and whoever said that the French were lovers LIED big time. If you are looking for a quick but painful death, just attempt to cross the streets of Paris. That was a complete nightmare in itself. They are an Impatient breed of people- seriously. Crossing the street was literally a life and death experience. The cars would drive regardless of the pedestrian crossings or red lights, so we basically had to sprint from one end of the street to the another. On the last day, after we bought our lunch, we went on this carousel thing (you know, the ones with the horses that go around in a circle) and I accidentally left my lunch on my horse. Soo annoying, then I went back but someone had already STOLEN IT! so I had to sit down and watch everyone else eat (fyi my friends offered me food, but i said no. I didn't want them to sacrifice their food for me).

    Highlights of the trip:

    • Witnessing a Crow eat a Pigeon
    • Being attacked by pigeons
    • Taking a selfie with a clown
    • Being called 'baby' and being told 'i love you' by a random stranger
    • going up the Eiffel tower
    • Seeing the Mona Lisa at the Louvre
    • and all of the other good stuff I've accidentally missed out of this
    • An old man trying to convince me to buy a condom, even though I told him I was only 15
p.s. Paris was Good, but the shopping in London is 1000 times better

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
    Hmm...HMM..
