Bluebirdco tea

Hey guys,

I'd like to think of myself as a typical Brit. I love drinking tea, in fact, I'd consider myself ato be some sort of tea enthusiast. There was a point in my life, last year, where I only drank tea all day, every day. If i was hungry, cold, thirsty, bored if needed to sleep I;d used to whip up a cup of tea with biscuit and enjoy.

Those of you who read my blog on a regular basis probably already know about the blogger meet-up that I attended late August. For those of you who have never read my blog before (and this is your first time reading one of my posts -welcome) late August, 30th to be precise, I attended a blogger meet-up. If you don't know what this is, or what we do there
any-who, we were given these really cool goody-bags (I'm yet to finish posting reviews on the products) amoung many things in the goody bag was tea by bluebirdco:

I drank about half of the cup before I decided 'why not treat this like ordinary tea and add some milk'. Big mistake. I strongly advise that you read all (every single word) of the instructions provided on the packet of a product. The tea packet clearly stated that no milk was necessary.

I think I made a video of me pouring in the milk. When I was doing it, I had no idea what the outcome would be because I still hadn't read the full instructions. I felt soo daft.

Above is the teabag. If I recall correctly, its contents consisted real strawberry bits and zesty lemon peel, which was unsurprisingly bursting with lots of flavour. I'm yet to try the other three teabags I've recieved from them, so I'll write separate reviews for each flavour.
If you would like to try out some of their tea for yourself, go to

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
Hmm...HMM..

How I Met Your Mother

Hey guys,

This post is late but I am trying my hardest to get it up before the day ends. I know it's not my first time posting late this week, so I sincerely apologise. The funny thing is, I don't even have a good excuse for not posting on time (I was sucked into the greatness that is the Sims 3 seasons).

I've had such a long day today and I'm just about ready to drift off to sleep. I can feel my eyelids slowly closing as I type this out. Lord give me strength!

Enough about me, lets talk How I Met Your Mother.  The Finale was deplorable, it just didn't make any sense to me. I really do think that we have all wasted a good portion of our lives watching nine whole seasons of the franchise, just to be let down by the finale. Can a bad finale ruin a whole series? Yes. Yes it can... If this is what they were planning to do from the very beginning, they might as well have named the program 'How I met your Aunt'. The mother is nothing I expected her to be. She was just a plane Jane (no offence to the actress or anything) but you would have thought that Nine seasons of anticipation and curiosity would have ended with some sort of bang.

Okay, let me stop and rephrase myself because I know that I'm being a little too harsh. We haven't exactly "wasted" our time watching the nine seasons, because I did enjoy being taken along Ted's' love journey of how he met their mother.

Here is somewhat of an explanation to the why things ended the way they did.

Mychelles Baketique

Hey guys,

This Saturday I attended a Teen Blogger Meet-up at Hyde park (Post about this soon) and the hostesses (http://www.realityleaveslotstoimagination.blogspot.co.uk/ and http://life-of-georgie.blogspot.co.uk/) of the event were kind enough to hand out goody bags to all of the TBloggers. So I thought I would use this as an opportunity to try something a little different. This week on my blog I'm attempting to do a themed week. This means that every day (at 8:00pm) of this week (excluding Monday because it's already passed) I'm going to post something relevant to the theme I choose. This weeks theme is: Review. This just means that all week I'm going to be reviewing (giving my opinion on) a few products that I've recently come into contact with.

Today, we focus on a brand called Mychelle's Baketique. They specialize in preparing custom cupcakes  and cakes. To be honest, I had never crossed paths with the brand until the TBlogger meet-up, but I'm really glad I have because the cup-cake they gave us tasted amazing.

Please ignore my photography skills, I took these with my phone, but I'm currently on the search for a camera (so if you could please leave some recommendations in the comment section below, that would be awesome). As you can see the packaging is quite simplistic, I actually quite like the packaging. I think the simplicity of it is cute. Something you could put in a heart-felt gift basket or even something you can gift to your mum. Imagine a whole basket of those cute, wrapped cupcakes, waiting for her with a card and teddy bear on mothers day.

I'm not sure of the exact name of the Mini Cupcakes they gifted us, so if anyone can find that out (and maybe try it?) that would be great. Oh and the cupcake itself was delicious. I'm no cupcake expert or anything, but this really did tick all of the boxes, you know: moist, sweet, aesthetically pleasing and tasty. Fr me, that's pretty much all a cupcake needs to be a success.
If you don't want to take my word for it, just go to their site http://baketique.com/index.php?route=common/home order and try some of their cakes for yourself. They also have a Blog http://blog.baketique.com/  that you should also go and check out.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
